Two bits of Friday afternoon fun..
...featuring Jimmy Savile - a TV legend from my childhood who died recently. First being interviewed by Jarvis Cocker - both are from Yorkshire and both have a penchant for interesting eyewear...but in quite different directions.
Jimmy - who was the first presenter of Top of the Pops, was probably most famous to British kids growing up in the 70´s, as the man who could wave a magic wand and make your dream come true. Here Jim fixes it for ´lucky?´ Amanda and Nia to sing with Haircut 100.
Now Jim´ll never be able to fix it for me.
